Community Councils in Powys got on the web in February and March 1999 using Powys Web funding. In three weeks 35 community councils applied for the 75% funding available to them, making sure that their communities were part of this exciting opportunity.
Web authors from around Powys created the 34 sites to the specifications of each community council, covering subjects such as local history, beauty spots, local business and Community Council information.
